QOOP Mini Photobooks are Online

QOOP has released 3 new photobook sizes today. The "mini's are available in three flavors: 3.75x2.5, 5.25x3.5 and 7x5 (inches).
This time around, the covers are customizeable. You can pick and choose the image for the cover as well as the number of images to go on the cover. Covers are also available in black or white.
The internal pages have changed for these books as well. We now allow for full bleed pages as well as pages framed in white or black.
I think these are pretty cool little items that make great gifts, especially since they're sold in packs of 4, 3, 2 respectively.
This is the flickr book we did of Dos Pesos for the flickr 2 year anniversary party.
The second image shows all three books. The 3rd picture shows the inside page of my Los Angeles Car show set.
You can get them if you have an account at flickr, buzznet, tribe or textamerica. We're adding more partners as quickly as we can.

QOOP 13.5" x 19" Wall Calendars Available

We added a new calendar to the product line-up today at QOOP. Instead of the usual glossy paper, these poster-sized wall calendars are printed on a heavy linen paper and available in two colors - white or cream.
That's one more notch on the belt.
You can get yours flickr, buzznet, and textamerica for now.

King Kong Reigns Supreme

The overgrown gorrilla has an overgrown movie to match it. We saw it yeterday at the Howard Hughes Theater. Paid an extra 3 dollars for the Director's theater with assigned seating and leather seats because it was a long movie and we wanted to be extra comfortable.
But back to the movie, it was very good. I highly recommend it. However, like his LOTR movies, there are some "Frodo" scenes that I will be fast forwarding through with the DVD.
Peter Jackson certainly knows how to deliver a movie. When making these blockbuster type films that he has been doing for the last several years, he, unlike Lucas, seems to shoot it with his audience in mind rather than his ego. [Spoiler Alert] In the trailers, you know Kong is going to fight T-Rex, so you're prepared for a cool fight. In the movie itself, Kong doesn't just fight one, but an entire gang of them. That's what I call taking it one step further.
I wonder what Jackson's doing next? Whatever it is, hopefully it's paying WETA's bills.
